Increased Compensation Rates for Second and Third Shifts

Shifts Available: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Required Work Hours: Calculated based on 8-hour shifts

Scope of Responsibilities: Upholding the Front Office Department's commitment to the highest quality standards set by the Brand and Management Company, with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities of Guest Service Representatives:

  • Accurately manage reservations and uphold their integrity.
  • Professionally handle inbound phone inquiries within a timely manner, adhering to a maximum of three rings and utilizing prescribed welcome protocols.
  • Execute nightly reporting duties and distribute reports via email and designated operating systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols outlined by the Management Company and IHG concerning the handling of customer-sensitive data, including credit card information, following appropriate training and IHG certification.
  • Effectively sell guest rooms according to training provided by superiors.
  • Foster a service-centric culture in alignment with Management Company's standards, maintaining a positive, energetic, and empathetic demeanor towards all guests.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including the Front Desk, Lobby, Back Office, Business Center, and Fax Area.
  • Ensure accuracy of Cash Drawer counts, with any overages applied appropriately and shortages promptly reported to superiors.
  • Attend at least one IHG-provided training course annually, either through web-based or classroom platforms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including Cash Count Log, Lost and Found Maintenance Log, Meeting Room Contract Log, and Front Desk Communication Log (Quore).
  • Proactively promote and adhere to Emergency Procedures training provided by the General Manager or immediate supervisor, with quarterly refresher sessions.
  • Adhere to OSHA and HAZCOM regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain proper uniform attire and adhere to clock-in procedures to prevent overtime.
  • Ensure operational radio is utilized effectively for interdepartmental communication, including proper usage during shifts and return to charging station at shift end.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (Licenses and/or Certifications):

  • High School Diploma minimum; additional course completions specified by Brand within 90 days of hire.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in basic computer programs including Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular standing and walking; occasional sitting and lifting; frequent bending.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and utilize both hands and legs effectively.
